If you are using g.mail to receive your forwarded mail from your domain at moonfruit, there is a setting in your g.mail account where you can reply

using another e.mail address provided you own it. This means that you should be able to reply as info@whateveryoursiteiscalled

In Google mail go to settings>accounts and import>send mail as, then set up your masked address in there. Then when you go to send a mail as a reply or a new e.mail you can click on the FROM drop down and you will then see the choices of address you can use which will include your inf@dadedadeda etc.

I have took the domain name and am forwarding mail from the website to my gmail account.

My question is Can I send a "normal" email using my "info@oliveoilmachinery.co.uk" address?

So when the mail sent reaches the recipient they will see that address?

I had a look in the "people" section of the tool bar but i get the impression that that is for recipients who wish to be members of your page?

I was approached recently about adding finishing touches to another Moonfruit site and I had so much fun and it took such a short amount of time (compared to building the site from scratch) that I thought I'd offer this to other new MF users who want to get into the process of building, but need a decorator.

Firstly

A check on website Grader reveals a recommendation to reduce the size of your Site description. Currently it has 170 characters, the advice is to have no more than 150 characters.

Secondly, whilst keywords are not a big issue with google if you are using them then they need entering correctly . You nee to follow each keyword with a comma and a space before entering the next one. You have no space. Also you started the first few with commas, and the rest with no commas just a space.

Make sure your keywords are in fact keywords within the site content and not just words loosely associated with the content.

You could also submit your site to Yahoo directories and DMOZ directories

You currently have no incoming links, this is helpful to assist search engines find and crawl your site.

Try to get listed in other directories which are relevant to your site content, and send cold call requests to

good sites that agree to links being added, particularly ones in your website interest area.

start making commentds on blogs or forums using your right site, and getting links to your site google will soon start to find it. hth

Okay, if you are clicking UPLOAD BUTTON first, you need to click the ADD FILES button to get to pictures on you computer. Once you select the photograph(s) that show up in the white box in the upload form, click the UPLOAD button.

If you ARE doing this and nothing happens, sign out and sign back in.

You have two weeks to build a site for free before you need to commit to it. When you get to the two week mark, you can opt to keep it free, then upgrade at a future time. You will be limited, though. The free site has limited size parameters...you cannot stretch the width or length of your page / you have only 20MB of storage space / you cannot add Paypal. If you want to be able to upload all the photographs you envision your site holding, be able to add length to the page in order to fit all the photos you envision on a page, and set up a Paypal shop then it would be wise to go ahead and buy an equivelant package. You can always downgrade to a free site again (with the limits listed above being re-inacted).

This bug is being fixed at present and the fix released shortly. If this doesn't resolve your issue then please contact Support and give us as much information about your account as possible so we can check your instance of Facebook.

The people settings dialogue masks the 'allow minifeed' dialogue box, which would normally appear when you click the authorise button.

Right click on your background image, and select 'inspect element' (I use google chrome, if using something else you may have to install firebug to get this feature). Which allows you to get into the coding and you'll see something like

'http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php'

Click on this and look at the settings on the right. I unckecked 'absolute' (after randomly trying a few things) and the allow minifeed dialogue box popped into view. I clicked allow, it authorised, and now works like a charm.

Had to logout and back in to get it to disappear, but sorted now. I'm a genius.

Quite a blag if youre not sure what to do, but it works.
